About Hospital

Justice K S Hegde Charitable hospital, is a 1000 bedded teaching hospital for the constituent institutions of NITTE (deemed to be University) with 12 broad specialities and 15 super specialities situated at Deralakatte.

The hospital houses a dedicated centre for treatment of cancer and neurological disorders, with a footfall of over 3 lakh outpatients and 30000 inpatients every year, the hospital is catering to the people of Deralakatte and adjoining districts of Karnataka and Kerala.

The hospital stands out with its speciality services which include IVF lab, level-1 sleep lab, comprehensive tissue bank, burns care unit and a dedicated children’s ICU complex. Growth and community service being its primary motto, new services like radio frequency ablation therapy, catheter induced thrombolysis, ERG testing, menopause clinic, childbirth education unit are now available in the hospital.
