Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme (DGEHS) Empanelled Hospital List 2026

The Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme (DGEHS) provides healthcare benefits to serving employees of the Government of NCT of Delhi, pensioners, family pensioners, and their eligible dependents.

Established in 1997, the scheme enables beneficiaries to access medical care through Delhi Government healthcare facilities and empanelled private hospitals across Delhi and NCR. Coverage includes consultations, diagnostic services, hospitalization, emergency treatment, and specialised healthcare services.

DGEHS broadly follows the framework of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) while operating under its own empanelment policies, reimbursement rules, and administrative guidelines. In 2026, the scheme introduced a revised empanelment framework aimed at strengthening quality standards, accountability, and beneficiary protection.

This guide covers the latest DGEHS panel hospital list, eligibility criteria, benefits, contribution rates, cashless treatment facilities, and reimbursement rules.

Note: The information presented here has been sourced from the official DGEHS portal (dgehs.delhi.gov.in) and recent office memorandums to ensure that it is accurate and up to date.

What is DGEHS?

The full form of DGEHS is Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme. It is a healthcare programme administered by the Government of NCT of Delhi for eligible employees, pensioners, and their dependents.

Under the scheme, beneficiaries can receive treatment through:

  • Government hospitals and healthcare facilities
  • Recognised government institutions
  • Empanelled private hospitals
  • Diagnostic centres and imaging facilities
  • Eye hospitals and dental clinics
  • Dialysis and cancer treatment centres

Treatment provided through cashless facilities at empanelled healthcare organisations, subject to applicable rules and eligibility conditions.

DGEHS Eligibility Criteria 2026

The scheme generally covers:

  • Serving employees of the Government of NCT of Delhi
  • Pensioners
  • Family pensioners
  • Eligible dependent family members
  • Other categories notified by the Government from time to time

Special Provision for Dependent Family Members with Disabilities

Certain dependent family members with permanent disabilities may continue to receive benefits without the usual age restrictions.

This includes:

  • Sons with permanent physical or mental disabilities, without any age limit
  • Unmarried brothers with permanent physical or mental disabilities, provided they have no independent family, are wholly dependent on the DGEHS cardholder, and normally reside with them

For DGEHS purposes, permanent disability refers to a disability of 40% or more. Eligible dependents must ordinarily reside with the beneficiary, and their income from all sources, including pension or family pension, must not exceed ₹9,000 per month plus the applicable Dearness Relief on a basic pension of ₹9,000.

Who is Not Entitled for DGEHS Benefits?

The following categories are generally not eligible for DGEHS benefits:

  • Individuals receiving Fixed Medical Allowance (FMA)
  • Relatives who do not meet the prescribed dependency criteria
  • Dependents whose income exceeds the notified dependency limit
  • Cases that do not comply with applicable rules, approvals, or reimbursement conditions

DGEHS Empanelled Hospitals and Healthcare Organisations

The DGEHS Hospital Network includes facilities located in:

  • Delhi
  • Gurugram
  • Noida
  • Greater Noida
  • Ghaziabad
  • Faridabad

DGEHS Panel Hospitals List 2026

As per the DGEHS latest orders and empanelment guidelines issued in 2026, private hospitals and diagnostic centres continue under the approved DGEHS network. Their empanelment status may change through future extensions, renewals, additions, or de-empanelment orders.

The official DGEHS network includes 435 healthcare organisations across Delhi and NCR regions. These organisations include multi-specialty hospitals, super-speciality hospitals, cancer centres, eye hospitals, dialysis units, and diagnostic laboratories.

Most empanelled facilities are accredited by NABH or NABL. This accreditation helps ensure compliance with prescribed quality standards.

How to Verify DGEHS Empanelled Hospitals?

Before seeking treatment, beneficiaries should:

  • Check the latest DGEHS Office Memorandums
  • Verify current empanelment status
  • Confirm availability of the required specialty
  • Confirm cashless treatment eligibility

Hospital status may change because of suspension, renewal, fresh empanelment, or de-empanelment orders.

De-Empanelled and Suspended Hospitals

DGEHS periodically issues orders regarding suspension or de-empanelment of healthcare organisations.

Reasons may include:

  • Fraudulent billing
  • Overcharging beneficiaries
  • Violation of empanelment conditions
  • Quality deficiencies
  • Non-compliance with DGEHS or CGHS requirements

Beneficiaries should always verify the latest status before treatment.

To access benefits under DGEHS, eligible beneficiaries must complete the required contribution, card, and registration formalities. These steps help confirm eligibility, issue the DGEHS card, and enable access to cashless treatment, hospital admission, diagnostic services, and reimbursement facilities.

DGEHS Contribution Rates (Monthly Subscription Charges)

For serving employees, the prescribed contribution is deducted directly from salary, while pensioners may opt for a one-time contribution for lifetime membership or any other payment mechanism permitted under prevailing rules.

Current DGEHS Contribution Structure

Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme contribution rates are linked to the beneficiary’s basic pay or pension slab. Serving employees pay monthly deductions ranging from ₹225 to ₹1,200, while pensioners contribute a one-time lifetime fee between ₹2,700 and ₹14,400. These slabs are based on the 7th CPC pay structure and determine both contribution and ward entitlement.

DGEHS Card – Your Key to Availing Benefits

The DGEHS card serves as proof of eligibility under the scheme. The card is generally required for:

  • Cashless treatment
  • Hospital admissions
  • Diagnostic investigations
  • Reimbursement claims
  • Referral-based treatment

Beneficiaries should ensure that their records remain updated and notify the concerned authorities regarding any changes in dependent details or eligibility status.

How to Register for DGEHS?

The DGEHS Online Application process varies for serving employees and pensioners. Serving employees are generally enrolled through their department, while pensioners may apply through designated authorities after retirement along with prescribed documents and contribution requirements.

  • Serving Employees: Registration is generally processed through the employee's department.
  • Pensioners: Pensioners may apply through the designated authorities after retirement, along with the prescribed documents and applicable contribution requirements.

Beneficiaries should consult the official DGEHS website for the latest application procedures and forms.

Documents Required for DGEHS Online Registration

To register under the Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme, applicants are generally required to submit the prescribed application form along with supporting documents. Commonly required documents include:

  • DGEHS application form
  • Passport-size photographs of the beneficiary and eligible dependents
  • Aadhaar Card and other identity proof documents
  • Proof of residence
  • Service-related documents (for serving employees)
  • Pension Payment Order (PPO) and pension-related documents (for pensioners)
  • Dependent details and supporting eligibility documents

Important Note: Applicants should ensure that the name and personal details mentioned in Aadhaar and other identity documents match the details recorded in official service or pension records to avoid delays in processing.

DGEHS Healthcare Services and Coverage

DGEHS provides access to a wide range of healthcare services through government healthcare facilities, wellness centres, polyclinics, and empanelled hospitals. The scheme covers outpatient care, hospitalization, emergency treatment, preventive health services, and specialised medical procedures, subject to applicable guidelines and eligibility conditions.

Treatments Covered Under Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme

Coverage generally includes:

  • Outpatient treatment (OPD)
  • Hospitalization (IPD)
  • Emergency care
  • Diagnostic investigations
  • Surgical procedures
  • Cancer treatment
  • Cardiac care
  • Dialysis
  • Organ transplantation (where applicable)
  • Intensive care services

The DGEHS panel rate list regulates the costs of treatments and healthcare services covered under the scheme.

Emergency Treatment Under DGEHS

Empanelled hospitals cannot refuse emergency treatment or demand advance payment from eligible beneficiaries in emergency situations.

Examples include:

  • Heart attack
  • Stroke
  • Severe trauma
  • Road traffic accidents
  • Acute renal failure
  • Respiratory failure
  • Acute abdominal emergencies
  • Obstetric emergencies
  • Poisoning
  • Other life-threatening conditions

What DGEHS Does Not Cover?

Certain expenses may not be reimbursable, including:

  • Toiletries
  • Cosmetics
  • Telephone charges
  • Non-medical personal expenses
  • Items specifically excluded under applicable DGEHS/CGHS rules

Beneficiaries should review current reimbursement guidelines before treatment.

DGEHS Wellness Facilities and Polyclinics

Beneficiaries can access healthcare services through a large network of government dispensaries, wellness centres, and polyclinics across Delhi.

DGEHS OPD Coverage includes a range of services:

  • Outpatient consultations (OPD)
  • Basic diagnostic services
  • Preventive healthcare
  • Follow-up treatment
  • Referral services for specialized care

The DGEHS healthcare network continues to expand, with several facilities being upgraded to provide enhanced specialty services. Beneficiaries should refer to the latest directory available on the Directorate General of Health Service, Delhi website for updated information on operational centres and services.

Annual Health Check-Up Facilities

Serving employees aged 40 years and above may be eligible for an annual health check-up under applicable government guidelines.

The health check-up package typically includes investigations such as:

  • Blood tests
  • Lipid profile
  • Liver and kidney function tests
  • ECG
  • Chest X-ray
  • Ultrasound examinations
  • Eye examination and other prescribed screenings

Reimbursement Process for Annual Health Check-Ups

Unlike routine cashless treatment, annual health check-ups are generally processed through reimbursement. Employees are advised to obtain prior approval or authorization from the competent authority in their department before undergoing the check-up.

Reimbursement is subject to the applicable government ceilings and departmental guidelines in force at the time of claim submission. Beneficiaries should retain all bills, investigation reports, approvals, and supporting documents required for reimbursement.

Treatment Outside Delhi/NCR

Where treatment is unavailable within the DGEHS network, beneficiaries are eligible for treatment outside Delhi/NCR subject to applicable approvals and DGEHS reimbursement rules. Prior permissions are required in non-emergency cases.

Referral System

In situations where referrals are required, beneficiaries are referred to empanelled hospitals or specialized facilities according to applicable DGEHS guidelines.

Emergency treatment does not require prior referral.

DGEHS offers both cashless treatment and reimbursement facilities to help beneficiaries access medical care without significant financial burden. Understanding package rates, ward entitlement rules, and reimbursement procedures can help beneficiaries make informed treatment decisions and ensure smooth claim processing.

Cashless Treatment vs Reimbursement

DGEHS Cashless Hospitals allow eligible beneficiaries to receive approved treatment without making upfront payments in specified circumstances. Cashless services are available at empanelled healthcare facilities subject to applicable scheme rules.

Aspect

Cashless Treatment

Reimbursement

Where?

Empanelled private hospitals/diagnostic chains + all Government hospitals (State, Central, and Autonomous bodies like AIIMS)

Any registered non-empanelled private hospital or nursing home locally or nationwide

When?

• Emergencies: All valid beneficiaries (serving or retired) automatically qualify.

• Planned: Pensioners get default cashless. Serving employees get cashless only if they hold an active online referral from a DGEHS dispensary or a specialized CMO permission.

• Emergencies: When rushed to a nearby non-empanelled facility because of life-threatening conditions.

• Planned: When choosing a non-network hospital with prior administrative approval or department NOC (No Objection Certificate).

Process

Show your valid digital/physical DGEHS Card + patient's Aadhaar card at the hospital's TPA desk. The hospital handles the online pre-authorization request directly.

Pay everything out-of-pocket upfront. Gather original discharge summaries, detailed itemized bills, prescriptions, and an Essentiality Certificate signed by the treating doctor. Submit the file to your Department (serving) or DGEHS Cell (pensioners).

Amount Caps

100% Cashless for approved procedures.

No payment is required except for explicit non-reimbursable lifestyle or cosmetic items (cosmetic implants, structural modifications, luxury kits).

Capped at Revised Rates. You will not receive your actual spent cost if it exceeds government limits. Reimbursements are strictly calculated based on the updated package thresholds.

Best For

Routine, stress-free, and financially protected care within the empanelled network.

Direct emergencies where proximity to the nearest ICU is the only priority, or unique clinical requirements not covered by empanelled partners.

What are DGEHS Package Rates?

DGEHS treatment package rates represent approved charges for specific procedures and treatments.

A package may include:

  • Consultation charges
  • Admission charges
  • Room rent
  • Nursing care
  • Operation theatre charges
  • Medicines
  • Investigations
  • Surgical consumables
  • ICU charges
  • Doctor visits

Hospitals cannot charge beneficiaries beyond approved package rates except where specifically permitted.

Ward Entitlement Under DGEHS

Ward entitlement under DGEHS is determined based on the beneficiary’s basic pay or pension slab. Beneficiaries with a basic pay or pension of up to ₹36,500 are entitled to a General Ward.

Those earning between ₹36,501 and ₹60,000 are eligible for a Semi-Private Ward, while beneficiaries earning ₹60,001 and above are entitled to a Private Ward. The scheme also specifies daily room rent ceilings ranging from ₹1,500 to ₹5,000, depending on the ward category.

Pay / Pension Slab

Medical Reimbursement Process

Beneficiaries can claim reimbursement for eligible medical expenses incurred under approved treatment categories. The DGEHS claim and reimbursement form must be completed and submitted along with the required supporting documents. These should include medical records, bills, prescriptions, investigation reports, and discharge summaries.

To submit a reimbursement claim, beneficiaries should:

  • Obtain all treatment-related documents.
  • Complete the prescribed claim form.
  • Fill out the DGEHS medical reimbursement form accurately.
  • Attach the required supporting records.
  • Submit the application through the designated authority.

Claims are reviewed and processed according to prevailing DGEHS rules, eligibility criteria, and documentation requirements.

Common Reasons for Claim Delays or Rejections

Claims may face delays because of:

  • Incomplete documentation
  • Missing certificates
  • Incorrect billing records
  • Lack of supporting medical records
  • Non-adherence to reimbursement guidelines

Beneficiaries should maintain complete treatment records and supporting documents.

Important 2026 Reimbursement Updates

  • Reimbursement Rate Structure: Reimbursement claims are calculated using a standardized rate structure. The base reimbursement amount is linked to the Semi-Private ward category.
  • General Ward Reimbursement Limit: Beneficiaries entitled to a General ward receive a lower reimbursement ceiling. Eligible surgical package reimbursements are reduced by 5%.
  • Private Ward Reimbursement Limit: Beneficiaries entitled to a Private ward receive a higher reimbursement ceiling. Eligible reimbursement amounts are increased by 5%.
  • Emergency Admission Intimation: Beneficiaries admitted to a non-empanelled hospital during an emergency must notify their department or the DGEHS Cell within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Authorized Notification Process: Emergency intimation is submitted by the beneficiary or an authorized representative. Delayed notification can trigger additional claim scrutiny.
  • Claim Delay and Rejection Risk: Failure to provide timely notification may delay reimbursement processing. In some cases, the claim is rejected.
  • Cashless Treatment Settlement: Cashless treatment at approved hospitals is generally settled at the time of discharge.
  • Reimbursement Processing Timeline: Reimbursement claims undergo manual verification and financial review. Processing may take approximately 45 to 90 days.
  • Factors Affecting Settlement Time: Settlement timelines depend on document accuracy and whether billing details match approved medical codes.

DGEHS for Pensioners and Serving Employees

While both serving employees and pensioners enjoy DGEHS benefits, their processes differ. Serving employees contribute monthly and route claims through their department, whereas pensioners pay a one-time lifetime fee and submit claims directly to the DGEHS Cell.

Both groups can access cashless treatment and apply for medical advances up to 90% of package rates

The Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme periodically updates its empanelment policies, operational guidelines, and compliance requirements to ensure quality healthcare services for beneficiaries. The following updates highlight key administrative reforms, hospital empanelment rules, penalty provisions, and recent policy developments under DGEHS in 2026.

Important 2026 Empanelment Reforms

The revised Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme SOP introduced several important changes.

  • Three-Year Empanelment: Healthcare Organisations are empanelled for three years.
  • Mandatory Service Coverage: Hospitals must provide all available OPD and IPD services at DGEHS-approved rates, including outsourced services.
  • Annual Compliance Reviews: DGEHS may conduct inspections and quality reviews to ensure continued compliance.
  • Performance Security Requirement: Empanelled healthcare organisations are required to furnish Performance Bank Guarantees (PBGs) before execution of the MoA.

Automatic Linkage with CGHS

Hospitals empanelled under DGEHS based on CGHS empanelment must maintain valid CGHS status. If CGHS empanelment is terminated, DGEHS empanelment automatically stands terminated as per the 2026 MoA.

Penalties for Empanelled Hospitals

The 2026 MoA introduced a structured penalty framework. Violations may lead to:

  • Refund of excess charges
  • Financial penalties
  • Claim rejection
  • Suspension
  • De-empanelment
  • Blacklisting
  • Forfeiture of Performance Security

Examples include:

  • Overcharging beneficiaries
  • Refusal of eligible cashless treatment
  • Billing for services not provided
  • Unnecessary procedures
  • Quality and compliance violations

DGEHS vs CGHS: Common Difference

The primary differences boil down to who runs them, where you can use them, and how smoothly serving employees can access private hospitals as of 2026.

Feature

Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme

Central Government Health Scheme

Target Beneficiaries

Employees, pensioners, and eligible dependents of the Government of NCT of Delhi (including autonomous bodies and Delhi Police).

Employees, pensioners, MPs, freedom fighters, and eligible dependents of the Central Government of India.

Geographic Jurisdiction

Highly concentrated within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi and satellite NCR cities (Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Faridabad).

Pan-India footprint spanning over 75+ major cities across almost all states.

Planned Treatment Referrals

Both serving employees and pensioners can walk directly into any empanelled private hospital for planned procedures or scans without an official dispensary referral.

Pensioners have direct access, but serving employees generally still require a formal referral from a CGHS Wellness Centre for planned private hospital treatments.

Primary Care Network

Anchored by over 150+ Delhi Government dispensaries, polyclinics, and wellness centres across Delhi.

Managed via an extensive national network of CGHS Wellness Centres (Alopathic, Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, Unani, and Siddha)

Private Empanelment Network

Includes approximately 430+ private healthcare facilities (hospitals, diagnostic labs, eye/cancer centers) primarily located in Delhi-NCR.

Features a massive nationwide panel of thousands of private hospitals and diagnostic facilities across India.

Administrative Framework

Governed and funded directly by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of NCT of Delhi.

Governed and funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India.

Treatment Package Rates

Adopts the revised CGHS package rates but operates under its own structural updates for specific regional procedures.

Serves as the master baseline rate framework that sets national treatment and surgery cost ceilings.

Conclusion

Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme continues to play an important role in providing healthcare access to Delhi Government employees, pensioners, and their families. Through government facilities and empanelled private healthcare Organisations, the scheme facilitates access to quality treatment, emergency care, diagnostics, and hospitalization.

The revised 2026 empanelment framework has strengthened hospital accountability across the DGEHS network. It has also improved beneficiary safeguards and quality standards.

Beneficiaries should always refer to the latest Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme Office Memorandums and official notifications. These documents provide the most current rules and operational updates. Empanelment status, package rates, and treatment guidelines may change over time. Checking the recent notifications helps avoid confusion and treatment-related issues.

Yes, but only through reimbursement, not cashless. Pay all charges upfront at the hospital. Then submit bills and an Essentiality Certificate to your department. Reimbursement is capped at approved DGEHS package rates. For emergency admissions, notify the respective authority within 24 to 48 hours.

DGEHS reimbursement typically takes 45 to 90 days. The timeline depends on complete and accurate documentation. Billing codes must match approved DGEHS medical codes. Missing certificates or incorrect bills cause delays. Submit a complete file the first time to avoid rejections.

You need the original discharge summary and itemized bills. Also attach prescriptions, investigation reports, and an Essentiality Certificate. The certificate must be signed by the treating doctor. Serving employees submit through their department's accounts branch. Pensioners submit directly to the DGEHS Cell, Karkardooma.

Yes, cashless is available at all empanelled private hospitals. It also covers all government hospitals, including AIIMS. Present your DGEHS card and Aadhaar at the TPA desk. The hospital raises the pre-authorization request directly. Serving employees need a valid dispensary referral for planned treatments.

Pensioners pay a one-time lifetime fee at enrollment. The amount ranges from ₹2,700 to ₹14,400. It depends on their basic pension slab under 7th CPC. This covers the pensioner and all eligible dependents. Monthly deduction from pension is also an authorized option.

Yes, if the treatment is unavailable within the DGEHS network. Prior approval is mandatory for all non-emergency cases. Reimbursement applies but is capped at DGEHS package rates. Costs above those limits will not be covered. Emergency cases need intimation within 24 to 48 hours.

Yes, both can be used for the same treatment. First claim through your private insurer or TPA. Then submit remaining expenses to DGEHS for reimbursement. Total claimed must not exceed the actual hospital invoice. Double recovery of the same amount is not permitted.

Ward entitlement is based on your basic pay or pension. Up to ₹36,500 entitles you to a General Ward. The room rent ceiling is ₹1,500 per day. ₹36,501 to ₹60,000 gets a Semi-Private Ward at ₹3,000. Above ₹60,000 qualifies for a Private Ward at ₹5,000.

Notify DGEHS authorities in writing with supporting documents. Submit a birth certificate for a newborn or marriage certificate for a spouse. Parents need a dependency and income certificate. Serving employees route requests through their DDO. Pensioners apply directly to the DGEHS Cell, Karkardooma.

Eligible family pensioners can continue DGEHS coverage after the cardholder's death. They must register as the new primary cardholder. Submit the death certificate, family pension order, and identity proof. Standard family pensioner contribution norms will apply. Other dependents continue subject to their own eligibility.

Visit dgehs.delhi.gov.in and check the Delhi government panel hospital list. Also review the recent Office Memorandums on the portal. Empanelment status can change due to suspension or renewal. A previously listed hospital may now be de-empanelled. When in doubt, contact the DGEHS Cell directly.

Under the 2026 MoA, overcharging attracts a structured penalty. The hospital must refund the excess amount charged. Additional penalties include suspension, de-empanelment, and blacklisting. The Performance Bank Guarantee can also be forfeited. File a grievance at dgehs.delhi.gov.in with all bills and documents.

Visit dgehs.delhi.gov.in to access the grievance form. You can also submit a complaint in writing to the DGEHS Cell. The address is F-17, Karkardooma, Delhi. Grievances can cover overcharging, refusal of treatment, or reimbursement delays. Attach all supporting bills, prescriptions, and communication records.

Yes, enrollment in the Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme is mandatory for all serving GNCTD employees. Coverage begins on your first day of service, and subscription fees are automatically deducted from your monthly salary based on your pay slab.

For pensioners, enrollment is optional. Retirees can secure lifetime coverage by paying a one-time fee equivalent to 10 years of subscriptions. Note that you cannot receive dual benefits: if you choose to receive the Fixed Medical Allowance (FMA) instead, you are strictly ineligible for DGEHS medical facilities.

Yes, the DGEHS private hospital list PDF includes empanelled private hospitals in Gurgaon (Gurugram). It also includes hospitals in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad.

DGEHS claims are commonly rejected due to incomplete documentation, missing certificates, incorrect billing records, or the absence of supporting medical documents. Claims may also face rejection if they are submitted late or do not comply with DGEHS reimbursement guidelines.

Beneficiaries should carefully review all documents before submission. Ensuring complete and accurate paperwork can help avoid delays and claim rejections.

No referral is required for emergency treatment at a DGEHS empanelled hospital. Beneficiaries can directly seek medical care in life-threatening situations.

For planned treatment, referral requirements may vary depending on the beneficiary category and treatment type. Serving employees may need a valid referral or prior approval for certain cashless treatments, while pensioners generally have broader direct access to empanelled hospitals.

Beneficiaries should verify the latest referral requirements before seeking treatment.

No. DGEHS covers a wide range of approved medical treatments, including hospitalization, surgeries, diagnostics, dialysis, cancer care, and emergency services. However, non-medical expenses, cosmetic procedures, luxury services, and treatments specifically excluded under DGEHS or CGHS guidelines are generally not covered.

Yes. DGEHS beneficiaries can be admitted without a referral slip during genuine medical emergencies, such as heart attacks, strokes, accidents, respiratory failure, or other life-threatening conditions.

Empanelled hospitals are required to provide emergency treatment without demanding prior approvals. Beneficiaries should present their DGEHS card and identity documents whenever possible, although emergency care should not be delayed because of documentation requirements.

If an empanelled hospital refuses eligible cashless treatment without a valid reason, you should first contact the hospital administration and seek clarification. Many issues can be resolved by verifying eligibility, referral requirements, or authorization status.

If the issue remains unresolved, you can file a complaint through the official DGEHS grievance redressal mechanism or contact the authorities. Hospitals that refuse eligible cashless treatment may face penalties, suspension, or other action under empanelment rules.

The DGEHS empanelled hospitals list is updated periodically through Office Memorandums, empanelment extensions, new empanelments, suspensions, and de-empanelment orders. Hospital status may change over time based on administrative decisions and compliance reviews.

Beneficiaries should always verify the latest empanelment status on the official portal before seeking treatment. This helps ensure that the selected hospital is currently eligible to provide DGEHS services and cashless treatment.
