What began as a 6-bed facility in 1994 quickly made history by performing one of India’s earliest 14 successful total knee replacements in its first year. Incorporated in 2004, Shalby witnessed exponential growth, multiplying revenues 100-fold in a decade. Milestones include:

• 2007: First 201-bed flagship multispecialty hospital in Ahmedabad
• 2012–2015: Expansion into Ahmedabad (Krishna Shalby), Vapi, Indore, Jabalpur, and Mohali
• 2017: Public listing and launch of hospitals in Jaipur, Surat, Naroda, and Mumbai
• 2018: Surpassing 1,00,000 joint replacements
• 2021: Acquisition of Consensus Orthopaedics’ manufacturing assets in California
