Shalby Hospital Journey

Shalby began as a modest 6-bed facility, among the first in India to successfully perform Total Knee Replacement surgeries, completing 14 such procedures in its very first year. Incorporated in 2004, it grew exponentially, launching its 201-bed flagship hospital on SG Highway in 2007.

Over the years, Shalby expanded with hospitals in Vapi, Indore, Jabalpur, Mohali, Jaipur, Surat, Naroda, and Mumbai, crossing 2,000+ beds in capacity. By 2018, it achieved a landmark of 1,00,000+ joint replacement surgeries.

In 2021, Shalby ventured into medical devices by acquiring hip and knee implant manufacturing assets from California-based Consensus Orthopedics, becoming India’s only vertically integrated orthopaedic hospital chain. Through its Shalby Orthopaedics Centre of Excellence (SOCE) model, it has expanded to Udaipur, Lucknow, and Gwalior, cementing its leadership in orthopaedic care.
