About Shalby Hospital Surat
Since opening its doors in March 2017, Shalby Hospital Surat has been serving patients from nearby regions such as Valsad, Udvada, Bharuch, and Hazira. With 243 beds and advanced operation theatres, it is equipped to handle complex surgeries.
Shalby Surat is recognised as South Gujarat’s leading Mother & Child Care Centre. It is home to the region’s largest Joint Replacement Centre, having performed over 5,000 successful surgeries.

Shalby Hospital Journey
What began in Ahmedabad as a modest 6-bed facility—performing 14 total knee replacements in its very first year. It has grown into one of India’s most respected hospital chains.
Shalby launched its first 201-bed multi-speciality hospital in 2007, followed by expansions to Vapi, Indore, Jabalpur, Mohali, Jaipur, Surat, Naroda, and Mumbai.
Listed publicly in 2017, Shalby has since surpassed 1,00,000 joint replacements, In 2021, became India’s only vertically integrated orthopaedic hospital chain through the acquisition of Consensus Orthopaedics’ manufacturing assets in the USA.
