Write a ReviewDr. Kalaichelvi Gopal mam is truly a great dr. My mother Sucheta Ghosh (48Year old) was suffering from heavy bleeding during periods, so much so that her haemoglobin levels got dangerously low. She had to be admitted and was given blood transfusion for the same. Ultimately after consulting Dr Kalai mam and trying various medicines, the decision of hysterectomy was taken. But my mother had complexities as she had 6 inch ×6 inch mesh fitted inside her abdomen due to a previous hernia operation (2005). Finally on 18/10/2025 my mother underwent laproscopic hysterectomy surgery by Dr. Kalaichelvi mam at Manipal Hospitals, kolkata. It was a long operation that lasted for 3.5hours. And am pleased to say that the operation was successful! Currently my mother is going through her recovery. All thanks to Dr. Kalaichelvi mam! She was so cooperative throughput the process. She had cleared all our doubts before the surgery and explained each steps in detail. Even she adjusted some portion of the operating cost from her side aswell! We are always greatful to dr. Kalaichelvi mam for the same!
I had been struggling with PCOS for years and thanks to Dr Kalaichelvi Gopal, I finally have it under control. Her guidance and treatment plan have made such a difference in my life. I am feeling healthier than ever. She is the best gynaecologist in Kolkata.
