 Eligibility criteria for rural people

1. Applicants from the SC/ST category 
2. Beggars and other people who are surviving on alms
3. Families without any male members aged between 16 to 59 years
4. At least one physically challenged member in the family
5. People working as casual manual labour do not possess any land
6. Primitive tribal communities 
7. Families live in makeshift houses with no more than one room and no proper walls or room 
8. Legally released bonded labours  
9. Manual scavenger families

Eligibility criteria for urban people

1. Domestic help 
2. Rag pickers
3. Washermen
4. Home-based artisans, tailors 
5. Mechanics, electricians, repair workers 
6. Sanitation workers, gardeners, sweepers
7. Plumbers, masons, construction workers, porters, welders, painters, and security guards
8. Transport workers like drivers, conductors, rikshaw pullers, carts, helpers
9. Assistants, peons in small establishments, delivery boys, shopkeepers, and waiters

After you complete the registration for Ayushman Bharat, you can download the card. Follow the steps below for the Ayushman Bharat card download:

1. Visit the Ayushman Bharat official website 'pmjay.gov.in'.
2. Click 'Menu' on the homepage.
3. Select 'Beneficiary Identification System (BIS)' under the Portals section.
4. Click 'Download Ayushman Card'.
5. Select the option 'Aadhaar'.
6. Enter the details of the 'Scheme, State, Aadhaar Number', tick the declaration and click on 'Generate OTP'.
7. Enter OTP and click 'Verify'.
8. Upon verification, click the 'Ayushman Card Download' option to download it.

There is an alternative way for Ayushman card download in PDF format. You can follow the steps below after the registration process:

1. Go to the official website 'pmjay.gov.in'.
2. Click 'Menu' on the left side of the homepage.
3. Click 'Open Beneficiary Identification System (BIS 2.0)' in the Portals section.
4. You will be directed to the website 'setu.pmjay.gov.in'.
5. Scroll down and click 'Download Your Ayushman Card'.
6. Enter your mobile number and sign in. 
7. Click 'Verify' for user authentication.
8. Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and click 'Validate'.
9. Click 'OK' on the popup.
10. You can view the PMJAY-SECC Beneficiaries dashboard.
11. On the left side of the dashboard, click 'Download Ayushman Card'.
12. Select your 'State' to complete the Download Ayushman Card section.
13. Select 'Aadhaar'.
14. Enter your Aadhaar Number and select 'OTP' for authorisation.
15. Click 'Get OTP'.
16. Enter the OTP received and click 'Verify'.
17. Your authentication is now complete.
18. Scroll down and click 'Download'.

Ayushman Bharat has an associated mobile application called the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY app. The app allows users to check their eligibility for the scheme, search for empanelled hospitals, view their transaction history, etc.

The steps to download Ayushman Card from the app are as follows:

1. Open Google PlayStore and search ‘PMAJAY-Ayushman Bharat.’
2. Install the app.
3. Open the application.
4. Accept the declaration.
5. Click ‘Login’ to proceed.
6. You can view the login page. Select ‘Beneficiary’. Fill in the mobile number details and state. Click ‘Next’.
7. Enter the received OTP and click ‘Next’.
8. Create a lock code and confirm it.
9. Click on ‘Card Download’.
