I want to share my serious concerns regarding the bypass surgery performed by Dr. Raghu on my father, Shri Pawan Agrawal, at Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore. We consulted Dr. Raghu for a diagnosed three-vessel disease and were clearly counseled that a minimum of two grafts would be done—ideally all three—to ensure his long-term health. However, on the day of surgery, we were informed only one graft was needed and that was done. Despite this, veins were taken from both legs, leaving large 10-inch scars on each leg, yet only a single graft was performed. This was confusing and remains unexplained. Initially, we were told arterial grafts would be used, but veins were used instead without our consent or prior knowledge. Post-surgery, Dr. Raghu did not personally attend to my father, and all care was handled by his junior doctors. He also took leave shortly after the surgery. Within a year, my father began experiencing angina again. In September 2025, upon admission and further investigation by angiography, it was revealed that one vessel severely blocked at the time of the 2023 surgery was left untreated. Additionally, it was found that the artery that was supposed to be connected via the LIMA graft to the chest wall was missing, and one vein graft was unused despite veins harvested from both legs. We did not understand the following: 👉🏻 Why was harvesting of the LIMA artery done if it was not used? 👉🏻 Why were two veins removed from both legs if only one was required? 👉🏻 What did the surgeon do with these veins and arteries? 👉🏻 If one artery and two veins were harvested, why were they not used? 👉🏻 Why was only one graft performed? 👉🏻 Is removing a patient’s arteries and veins so routine that it is done without proper explanation or consideration? 👉🏻 Did anyone explain to the patient about this artery and vein removal? 👉🏻 Was there any written information given stating that the LIMA artery was removed but not used for grafting? 👉🏻 As patients and attendants, do we not have the right to be informed fully about what has been done? We want to know what has been done and why such serious problems occurred despite no major surgical complications reported. My father was walking and fine before going into surgery, yet these issues have arisen. While Dr. Raghu is a reputed surgeon known to perform many surgeries daily, which initially reassured us, this case raises serious concerns about the quality and thoroughness of care provided. It unfortunately appears more like a business transaction rather than patient-focused treatment. I sincerely hope that Dr. Raghu or the hospital administration addresses these concerns transparently to help us understand the facts around my father’s surgery and the missing grafts. -Kamal Son of Shri Pawan Agrawal

डॉक्टर ने हर बात अच्छे से समझाई और अस्पताल की सुविधाएं बेहतरीन थीं।
Please if you truly care for your loved ones and you want to see them alive and well. Please don't visit Dr Praveen Tambrallimath. He is a butcherer

The care and expertise of the hospital were exceptional. I also found the Narayana hospital address easily online, which made reaching the Bommasandra campus very convenient. Grateful for the care I received.
Dr. Praveen R Tambrallimath performed open-heart surgery on my mother and put her on ByPass machine for more than 10 hours as he converted AVR surgery to DVR which took 13 hours. He did not take family consent on doing this high risk surgery which resulted in mothers death. She was in ICU for 12 days where Praveen Tambrallimath literally tortured her to the core and kept her dead body in ICU for 2 days even after she was dead just to increase the hospital bill. I humbly request everyone on this forum not to consult this devil doctor Praveen Tambrallimath and boycott him if you want to see your loved ones alive.
Thank you Dr.Sanjay Sir.. my father has recovered by your open heart surgery in Narayana hrudayalaya....millons of thanks from our family to sir 🙏
Extremely satisfied with his treatment, behaviour, and care ... I'm still living on Earth for another decade because of him. Want to meet him and convey my thanks to him this February on my 10th Heart-Anniversary on 17th.
Pathetic experience. Wrong diagnosis. Unnecessary tests. After tests he asked me to consult another cardiologist. He is very bad doctor. Can't even handle his patients.
He is a pathetic mofo who killed my mother, he refused to talk to the family Didn’t even talk to us once Kept my mom in ICU for one month Made her weak, no movement of hand and legs Didn’t replace her ICD on time His team took my mother again to ICU for IV line insertion saying she needs to be discharged and we need to draw blood and it can be done only through IV line insertion and messed it up and her bp dropped and his team was incompetent to manage the situation and killed my mother Forever gonna hate him and suggest everybody to never go to this mofo He has killed a lot of ppl before. Shame on you asshole

I had my Myomectomy done at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Bommasandra, Bangalore. The surgery took place in the morning and I was very satisfied with the level of care and professionalism displayed by the entire staff. Highly recommend this hospital for anyone seeking similar treatments.
I went for a heart-related consultant to meet Dr Pradeep Shetty is very bad. Have quality people but too much time for every visit. Long procedure for a simple consultation. It was just like wasting our time in visiting this hospital and keeping on waiting to wait waiting. I was irritated, and they were charged more money. They aimed only for money money, and it was very good.
Toilets should be in hospital for OPD patients and guardians.
Separate and sufficient Toilet facility should be there for guardian of patient.
