Shalby Hospital Journey

Shalby’s journey began in Ahmedabad as a modest 6-bed facility and quickly made its mark by being among the first in India to perform total knee replacements. In 2004, it was formally incorporated, and by 2007, the first flagship multi-speciality hospital with 201 beds was launched.

Expansion followed in 2012 with Krishna Shalby in Ahmedabad and a 146-bed hospital in Vapi.

By 2015, Shalby had entered Central and North India, establishing hospitals in Indore, Jabalpur, and Mohali. The year 2017 marked its public listing and the addition of facilities in Jaipur, Surat, Naroda, and Mumbai.

In 2018, Shalby celebrated the milestone of over 1,00,000 joint replacement surgeries. A significant leap came in 2021 with the acquisition of Consensus Orthopaedics (USA) manufacturing assets, making it India’s only vertically integrated orthopedic hospital chain.
