Description
The medicine and bed charges incurred before the operation Can I get help with the Ayushman card?
Hello,
Yes, if you are an eligible beneficiary under Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) and are admitted to a PM-JAY empanelled hospital for a surgery covered under the scheme, the bed charges, medicines, nursing care, and other hospitalization expenses are generally covered as part of the approved PM-JAY treatment package.
Please note :
Bed charges, medicines, investigations, and nursing care are usually covered only after your admission under an approved PM-JAY package.
If you purchase medicines from outside the hospital or receive services that are not included in the approved treatment package, those expenses may not be covered.
The final approval depends on your PM-JAY eligibility, the doctor's recommendation, the approved treatment package, and the hospital's authorization.
