Namaste Rajendra ji,

Aapka sawaal bahut important hai. Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) ek serious condition hai jisme pair ya kisi aur ang mein gehri naso (veins) mein khoon ka thakka (blood clot) ban jaata hai. Agar iska sahi samay par ilaaj na ho to clot lungs tak jaakar jaanleva ho sakta hai (Pulmonary Embolism).

  • Compression Stockings: Special socks pair mein pehna jaata hai jo sujan aur dard kam karte hain.

  • DVT Pump (Sequential Compression Device):

    • Yeh ek machine hoti hai jo pairon mein pressure daalti hai aur blood circulation improve karti hai.

    • Iska use un patients mein kiya jaata hai jo bed rest par hote hain ya movement kam hoti hai, taaki naye clots banne se bachaa ja sake.

  • Surgical Intervention (Rare Cases):

    • Agar clot bahut bada hai aur medicines se control nahi hota, to doctors thrombectomy surgery recommend karte hain.

    • Is procedure mein clot ko direct nikaala jaata hai vein se.

    • Kabhi kabhi catheter-directed thrombolysis bhi hota hai jisme ek catheter ke through clot ko dissolve ya remove kiya jaata hai (specialist ke advice ke hisaab se).

🔹 Important Precautions:

  • Doctor ke bataaye gaye blood thinners ko time se lena.

  • Smoking band karna aur healthy diet lena.

⚕️ Chahein to HexaHealth aapko vascular specialist se consult karwane, DVT ka sahi ilaaj plan banwane aur hospital appointment lene mein madad kar sakta hai. 📞

Hello Nanu Nagalakshmi Ji,

Umbilical hernia surgery typically involves repairing the hole in the abdominal wall near the belly button. The cost of the surgery can vary depending on the hospital, the complexity of the procedure, and whether it is performed laparoscopically (minimally invasive) or through traditional open surgery.

Cost Estimate:

  • The umbilical hernia surgery costs can range from INR 50,000 to INR 120,000 or more. This will depend on the healthcare facility, the type of procedure, whether open or laparoscopic, and the insurance or EMI option if availed

Important Considerations:

  • The procedure is generally safe and can be done through minimally invasive techniques with faster recovery times.

  • It’s important to consult a surgeon who can assess your condition and provide a detailed cost estimate based on your specific health needs.

Feel free to contact us for more detailed assistance or to help you find a suitable hospital near you!

Hello Nagalakshmi Ji,

It seems that you have an umbilical hernia and a spinal issue (L4-L5), which can sometimes cause discomfort and pain in the lower back or legs.

Umbilical Hernia

An umbilical hernia occurs when part of the intestine pushes through the abdominal wall near the belly button. The good news is that this condition can often be treated with surgery, and most people recover well after the procedure.

L4-L5 Spinal Issue

L4-L5 refers to the lower lumbar spine (lower back). A problem here, such as a disc herniation or degeneration, can cause pain in the back, hips, or legs. Depending on the severity, treatment may include physical therapy, medication, or even surgery.

Treatment Plan

  1. Umbilical Hernia: Surgery may be required to repair the hernia. Depending on its size and complexity, this can be done through minimally invasive techniques (laparoscopy) or open surgery.

  2. Spinal Issue (L4-L5): Depending on the condition, non-surgical treatments like physical therapy, medications (pain relievers, anti-inflammatory drugs), and lifestyle changes can help. In severe cases, surgery (such as spinal fusion or disc replacement) may be considered.

It’s important to consult a general surgeon (for the hernia) and an orthopaedic or spine specialist (for the spinal problem) to create a customised treatment plan for both conditions.

Feel free to contact us for assistance finding the right specialists and hospitals near you.

Hello Ajay Ji,

A lump in the growing armpit could have several causes, and it's essential to get it evaluated by a doctor to determine the exact cause. Some common reasons for lumps in the armpit include:

  1. Lymph Node Swelling:
The armpits contain lymph nodes, which can swell due to infections, inflammation, or even more serious conditions like cancer. Often, an infection or inflammation (like a bacterial or viral infection) can cause the lymph nodes to enlarge.

  2. Lipoma:
This is a non-cancerous growth made up of fatty tissue. Lipomas are generally soft and movable under the skin.

  3. Abscess:
An abscess or a boil is a painful, swollen lump filled with pus, often caused by an infection in the hair follicle or sweat gland.

  4. Breast-Related Conditions:
Conditions like fibroadenomas or cysts can also cause lumps in the armpit area. These are typically benign but should be checked by a doctor.

Steps to Take

  • Consult a Doctor:
The first step is to visit a doctor, preferably a general surgeon or a specialist in breast health. The doctor will conduct a physical examination and may recommend imaging tests like an ultrasound or mammogram to determine the nature of the lump.

  • Biopsy:
If needed, a biopsy may be performed to rule out any severe conditions like cancer.

Treatment Options

  • Antibiotic or drainage may be recommended if the lump is due to an infection.

  • If it's a lipoma or cyst, your doctor may suggest removal if it is causing discomfort.

  • For any other underlying conditions, the treatment will depend on the diagnosis made after proper examination.

Please don't delay the visit to a healthcare provider to ensure a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

Hi Ashraf,

Thank you for your question.

The recovery time after fissure surgery varies slightly based on individual healing and the nature of your work.

✅ Most people can return to office work within 3 to 5 days after surgery, especially if the job is desk-based and doesn't involve heavy physical activity.
✅ If your work involves physical labour or prolonged sitting, you may need about 7–10 days for a more comfortable recovery.
✅ It's important to keep the area clean, follow your doctor's post-op care instructions, and avoid constipation to promote healing.
✅ Pain and mild discomfort can last a few days but are usually manageable with medications and a sitz bath.

It's best to consult your surgeon, who can give you the most accurate advice based on your healing progress and work requirement.

Hello Sonia ji,

Thank you for reaching out.

Grade 3 Prostatomegaly means that your father’s prostate gland is significantly enlarged, which can cause symptoms like:

  • Difficulty in urination

  • Frequent urge to urinate, especially at night

  • Weak urine stream or incomplete bladder emptying

Next Steps You Should Consider

  1. Urologist Consultation:
A consultation with a urologist is essential to assess symptom severity and decide on the best treatment plan.

  2. Recommended Tests May Include: If these tests are already done, then urologist might review these reports to suggest further

    • PSA Test (Prostate-Specific Antigen)

    • Ultrasound KUB (Kidney, Ureter, Bladder)

    • Uroflowmetry

    • Digital Rectal Examination (DRE)

  3. Treatment Options:

    • Medications may be prescribed for symptom management.

    • For Grade 3 or symptomatic cases, surgery may be required.

About TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate)

  • It is the gold standard surgery for an enlarged prostate.

  • No external incision is made. A small instrument is inserted through the urethra to remove excess prostate tissue.

  • The procedure relieves pressure on the urinary tract and improves urine flow.

  • Hospital stay is usually 1–2 days; most patients recover fully in 1–2 weeks.

  • It is safe and effective, especially for patients who don’t respond well to medication.

At HexaHealth, we can:

✅ Connect you to trusted urologists in Jalandhar
✅ Arrange diagnostics and fast-track consultations
✅ Assist with cashless treatment if you have insurance
✅ Support you throughout the treatment journey

Namaste Munni Devi ji,

Aapne likha hai ki "brain mein tikat hai" — hum aapki chinta samajh sakte hain, lekin thoda aur spasht batana zaroori hoga taaki hum sahi salah de sakein.

Kripya humein yeh batayein:

  • Kya aapke paas koi report ya scan (MRI/CT) hai?

  • Doctor ne kya diagnosis diya hai?

  • Kis tarah ke lakshan (symptoms) aa rahe hain?

Iss sab ke liye zaroori hai ki aap apni medical reports ke saath ek neurologist se sampark karein.
Woh aapko thoroughly examine karke sahi treatment options aur precautions bata sakte hain.

Aapke dwara apni health concern share karne ke liye dhanyawaad.

🔍 Hydrocele ka treatment:  Aaj ke time mein hydrocele ka ilaj ek simple aur advanced surgery se ho jata hai, jise hydrocelectomy kehte hain. Ab yeh surgery modern techniques jaise laser-assisted ya minimally invasive procedure se bhi hoti hai.

  • Kam pain
  • Chhoti si cut
  • Koi bada stitch nahi
  • Aur 1-2 din mein recovery shuru ho jati hai

Early treatment se na sirf aapka swelling aur discomfort khatam hota hai, balki medical fitness test clear karna bhi asaan ho jata hai.

📍 Hospital aur Doctor Options: Agar aap Kaushambi ya Prayagraj ke aas-paas best doctor ya hospital dhundh rahe hain, toh please HexaHealth care specialists se turant contact karein. Hum aapko nearest, trusted hospital mein early appointment aur complete assistance dene ka prayaas karenge.

Hello Somnath, Ji,

Thank you for reaching out to the HexaHealth doctor community.

Piles (also known as haemorrhoids) are swollen veins in the rectal area that can cause pain, itching, discomfort, and bleeding during bowel movements. The right treatment depends on the severity of your symptoms.

Here’s what you can do:

For mild piles:

  • Eat a high-fibre diet (fruits, vegetables, whole grains)
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Avoid straining during bowel movements
  • Use sitz baths (warm water baths for the anal area)
  • Over-the-counter creams or ointments may help relieve discomfort

For moderate to severe cases:
If symptoms persist or worsen, it’s best to consult a specialist. Depending on the grade of piles, minimally invasive or surgical options like laser treatment, stapler surgery, or rubber band ligation may be recommended.

We suggest you book a consultation with a HexaHealth expert to get a personalised and appropriate treatment plan.

Feel free to reach out — we’re here to help you get relief quickly and safely.

Hello Surender Ji,

Under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana (PM-JAY), urological procedures like PCNL, URS, and TURBT are covered. However, these surgeries are typically performed by urologists (specialist surgeons), not general surgeons.

In Uttar Pradesh, whether a general surgeon can perform these procedures depends on the hospital's facilities, the surgeon’s qualifications, and government guidelines.

(Treatment Plan)

FESS (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery)

(Nasal Steroid Sprays)

Dear Mahruf,

Thank you for reaching out. To assist you better, could you please confirm if you have been diagnosed with gallstones and are looking to undergo gallbladder stone surgery?

If yes, there are generally two main treatment options:

  1. Cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal surgery) – This is the most common treatment for recurrent or symptomatic gallstones, where the gallbladder is removed. Done with advanced technique via laparoscope offers quick recovery, short hospital stay and minimal risk of complications.
  2. Stone removal without gallbladder removal – In some cases, due to age or associated medical conditions, they may be removed without removing the gallbladder.

A consultation with a gastroenterologist or surgeon will help determine the best treatment plan for your specific condition.

Please feel free to share more details so we can guide you further.

Wishing you the best of health!

Hello Lalit Ji,

Could you please confirm if you were referring to piles surgery instead of "pioneer surgery"? If your query concerns dietary recommendations after piles (haemorrhoids) surgery, it is essential to follow a fibre-rich, soft, and easily digestible diet to aid healing and prevent constipation, which could strain the surgical site.

However, if you were referring to a different type of surgery, please share more details so we can provide the most accurate guidance.

Hello Taqi Ji,

Intestinal perforation is a surgical emergency and requires immediate hospitalization with surgical and critical care support. The patient should be urgently evaluated for exploratory laparotomy or laparoscopic repair to seal the perforation and prevent peritonitis/sepsis.

Next Steps:

✅ Immediate referral to a surgical team for emergency intervention.
✅ Close monitoring for signs of peritonitis, sepsis, or worsening liver function due to Hepatitis B.
✅ Long-term follow-up with a hepatologist for Hepatitis B management post-surgery.

⚠ Delay in treatment can be life-threatening. Immediate surgical intervention is required!

Dear Abhishek Kumar Ji,

We understand that dealing with a persistent infection after gallbladder surgery can be concerning. Since your infection has been ongoing since November, it’s essential to evaluate a few key factors:

  1. Current Symptoms – Are you experiencing fever, abdominal pain, nausea, or drainage from the surgical site?
  2. Previous Tests & Treatment – Have you undergone any blood tests, imaging (like an ultrasound or CT scan), or a culture to identify the infection? What antibiotics have you been on so far?
  3. Liver Function & Bile Duct Health – Any signs of jaundice (yellowing of skin/eyes) or abnormal liver function tests?

Possible Causes & Next Steps:

  • Abscess or Bile Leakage: An ultrasound or CT scan may help identify an undrained collection if the infection is persistent.
  • Resistant Infection: If initial antibiotics were ineffective, a culture test can guide better antibiotic selection.
  • Bile Duct Issues: In some cases, retained stones or strictures in the bile duct can lead to ongoing infection, requiring an ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) for evaluation and treatment.

Suggested Next Steps:

🔹 Consult a Gastroenterologist or General Surgeon for a detailed evaluation.
🔹 Repeat imaging (Ultrasound/CT Scan) to check for fluid collections or bile leaks.
🔹 Blood tests (CBC, Liver Function, CRP, Procalcitonin, Blood Culture) to assess infection severity.
🔹 If needed, an interventional procedure (drain placement, ERCP, or further surgical intervention) may be required.

We strongly recommend seeking urgent medical attention if you have high fever, worsening pain, jaundice, or severe weakness. Let us know if you need assistance in booking an appointment with a specialist.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.
