Why Is KIMS Hospital, Nellore Not Accepting My ABHA Card?

The reason is that an ABHA Card and an Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) Card are different.

An ABHA Card is only a Digital Health ID. It helps doctors and hospitals access your medical records (with your permission), but it does not provide free or cashless treatment.

If you want cashless treatment, you need to be eligible under Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) or have a valid health insurance policy.

Regarding KIMS Hospital, Nellore, it is currently not empanelled under Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY). Therefore, you cannot avail PM-JAY cashless treatment at this hospital. This is why the hospital is not accepting it for PM-JAY benefits.
