Does Ayushman Card cover angiography after a cardiac arrest?

Please Follow These Urgent Steps Immediately

1. Visit the Ayushman Bharat Help Desk (Ayushman Mitra)

Do not discuss the billing only with the laboratory staff or ward nurses. Go directly to the Ayushman Mitra/PMJAY Help Desk available at AIIMS Patna.

Tell them:

"This is an emergency cardiac arrest admission. The doctor has advised ICU admission and coronary angiography. Please process our treatment under the Ayushman Bharat (PMJAY) package."

2. Ask the Hospital to Initiate PMJAY Authorization

Request the Ayushman Help Desk to verify your grandfather's Ayushman Card and submit the case for PMJAY treatment package approval. Once approved, the eligible treatment package, including investigations required for the emergency cardiac treatment, can be provided cashlessly.

3. Speak to the Treating Doctor

Inform the treating cardiologist that you want to avail treatment under PMJAY and request them to coordinate with the Ayushman Help Desk for package authorization.
