On the 1st March 2008 it was named as Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Narayan Hospital by the Hon’ble chief minister Shri Nitish kumar Ji. It was deiced to transform the hospital as a super specialist hospital – mainly orthopedic surgery.It was initially proposed to have an orthopaedic dept. to provide services to the orthopedic patients.
