HAHC Hospital Journey

Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR) and its associated Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary Hospital is a private medical school and teaching hospital in Delhi. Established in 2012, it is affiliated to Jamia Hamdard. The hospital was built with full financial support of the Hamdard National Foundation and attached to the Medical College in 2010-11. The Medical College and its teaching hospital was granted all requisite permissions by MCI, GOI and Delhi Govt., and the first LOP for intake of 150 MBBS students was granted in January 2021.

Jamia Hamdard itself traces its origins to a clinic established in Delhi in 1906, and was awarded Institute of Eminence status by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in 2019, reflecting its standing as one of India's most respected academic and healthcare institutions.
