ಅಮೃತಾ ನನ್ನ ಅಕ್ಕನಿಗೆ ಆಕಸ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ಲಿಂಫೋಮಾ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಡಾ. ಮಂಗೇಶ ಕಾಮತ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾವು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿಯಿಂದ ವರ್ತಿಸಿದರು. ಟಾರ್ಗೆಟೆಡ್ ಥೆರಪಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಿಮೋಥೆರಪಿಯ ಪ್ಲಾನ್ ಸ್ಕಿಲ್ಫುಲ್ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಅವಳು ನಿಗಾ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವೆ. ಅವರೆಂದಿಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ ದೇವರು ತಾನೇ.
