ಹಲವು ಕಡೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದರೂ ಮಗುವಿನ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಮಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಡಾ. ಗೌರಿ ಶಂಕರ್ ರುದ್ರಪಾಲ್ ಅವರು ಬಹಳ ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ನಮಗೆ ಧೈರ್ಯ ತುಂಬಿದರು. ಅನಗತ್ಯ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸದೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಇವರ ಶೈಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಯಿತು. ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ನಿಪುಣರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕರು.

ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಕ್ಯಾನಿಂಗ್ ವರದಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಆತಂಕವಾಗುವುದು ಸಹಜ. ಆದರೆ ಡಾ. ಗೌರಿ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನೂ ನಮಗೆ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಯಾವುದೇ ಗೊಂದಲವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುವ ಇವರ ರೀತಿ ಬಹಳ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದೆ. ಬೊಮ್ಮಸಂದ್ರದ ಈ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಅನುಭವವಾಯಿತು. ಇವರು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಯಂದಿರ ಹಿತೈಷಿ.
