Is LASIK eye surgery covered under Ayushman Bharat in Jalandhar?

Generally, no. LASIK surgery for correcting refractive errors or removing dependence on glasses is usually considered an elective vision-correction procedure and is not generally covered under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY.

However, other medically necessary eye procedures, such as cataract, glaucoma, retinal and certain other eye surgeries, is covered in PM-JAY package.
