ಬೊಮ್ಮಸಂದ್ರದ ಮಜುಂದಾರ್ ಶಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆವು. ಶ್ವಾಸಕೋಶದ ಇನ್ಫೆಕ್ಷನ್‌ನಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನನಗೆ ಅವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಬಹಳ ದೊಡ್ಡದು. ಎರಡು ದಶಕಗಳಿಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಾಲದ ಅವರ ಅನುಭವ ಅವರ ಪ್ರತಿ ಮಾತಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಎದ್ದು ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ. ಯಾವುದೇ ಗೊಂದಲವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾದ ದಾರಿ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಇವರು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಬಹಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ವೈದ್ಯರು.
