నాన్నకి వెంటిలేటర్ మీద ఉంచారు. హార్ట్‌లో గుండె వాల్వ్ పూర్తిగా డ్యామేజ్ అయ్యింది. డాక్టర్ కరుణాకర పద్ది గారు హార్ట్ వాల్వ్ రీప్లేస్ చేశారు. అప్పుడు మా ఇంట్లో లైటే ఉండేది కాదు. కానీ ఇప్పుడు నాన్న గారు నడుస్తున్నారు, నవ్వుతున్నారు. ఇదంతా ఆయనే వల్ల సాధ్యమైంది.

पापा को लगातार हाथ सुन्न होने की शिकायत थी। Tests के बाद पता चला peripheral artery disease है। Dr. Karunakara ने vascular bypass सर्जरी की सलाह दी। हमने भरोसा किया और surgery successful रही। अब पापा पहले की तरह घूमते हैं। उनकी steady hand और calm nature ने हमें बहुत हिम्मत दी।
