What Treatment Is Needed if Delivery Stitches Are Not Healing Properly?

Delivery ke baad stitches ya wound sahi se nahi sukh rahe hain, to gynecologist ko jaldi dikhana chahiye, especially agar pain badh raha hai, swelling hai, bad smell aa rahi hai ya wound se pani/pus nikal raha hai.

Aisa kyun ho sakta hai?

• Wound mein infection ho sakta hai.

• Stitches ke area mein swelling ya irritation ho sakti hai.

• Kabhi-kabhi stitches ke neeche infection ki wajah se wound dobara khul sakta hai.

• C-section ke wound mein bhi infection ki wajah se healing slow ho sakti hai.

• Diabetes hone par wound infection ka risk zyada ho sakta hai.

Abhi kya karein?

• Wound ko clean aur dry rakhein.

• Area ko gently clean karein aur clean towel se halka dab karke dry karein.

• Vaginal stitches hain to toilet ke baad normal/warm water se gently clean kar sakte hain.

• Sanitary pad regularly change karein.

• Haath wash karke hi wound ya stitches ko touch karein.

• Loose aur comfortable cotton clothes pehnein.

• C-section wound hai to heavy weight uthana aur strenuous activity avoid karein.

• Rest karein aur proper nutritious food aur fluids lein.

Ghar par kya remedy kar sakte hain?

Ghar par koi cream, powder, oil, haldi ya antiseptic directly wound par apne aap na lagayein. Isse irritation ya infection badh sakta hai.

Agar pain hai to doctor se poochkar breastfeeding ke according suitable pain medicine lein. Infection hone par doctor antibiotics ya doosra treatment prescribe kar sakte hain.

Doctor ka treatment kya ho sakta hai?

Treatment wound ki condition par depend karega. Doctor wound ko check karke :

• Infection hone par antibiotics de sakte hain.

• Pus ya fluid hone par wound ki proper cleaning/drainage ki zarurat ho sakti hai.

• Wound khul gaya ho to dressing aur regular wound care ki zarurat ho sakti hai.

• C-section wound mein bhi infection ke according dressing, antibiotics ya further treatment diya ja sakta hai.

Kin symptoms mein jaldi doctor ko dikhana chahiye?

• Wound ka pain badhta ja raha ho

• Wound red, hot ya zyada swollen ho

• Pus ya blood jaisa discharge aaye

• Bad smell aaye

• Stitches/wound khulne lage

• Fever ya thand lagna ho

• Bahut weakness ya unwell feel ho

• Vaginal bleeding bahut zyada ho

Ye infection ya wound healing problem ke signs ho sakte hain aur medical treatment ki zarurat pad sakti hai.

Agar wound se pus aa raha hai, bad smell hai, fever hai ya wound khul raha hai, to aaj hi gynecologist/maternity hospital mein check karwayein.
