Yes, both normal delivery and Caesarean delivery is covered under the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY scheme.

How to check the Ayushman hospital

1. Open the official Ayushman Bharat hospital search portal.

2. Select your state.

3. Select your district.

4. Choose Government or Private hospital.

5. Select the relevant speciality for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

6. Check the hospital name and its empanelment status.

7. Complete the captcha, if shown.

8. Click on Search.

9. Confirm that the hospital has active PM-JAY empanelment.

10. You can also check overall empanelled list of hospital  of your district.

11. Before admission, ask the Ayushman Mitra at the hospital to confirm whether the normal delivery or Caesarean package is available and whether pre-authorisation is required.

Documents required

• Ayushman card

• Aadhaar card or valid government ID

• Pregnancy-related reports and ultrasound reports

• Doctor's prescription or referral

• Previous medical records

• Blood and other investigation reports

• Previous admission or discharge papers, if any

• Mobile number registered with the beneficiary, if required
