Which Hospitals in Hyderabad, Telangana Accept ABHA for Digital Health Services?

There is an important difference between an ABHA Card and an Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Card.

ABHA vs Ayushman Card

NHA describes ABHA as a health ID under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, while PM-JAY provides cashless treatment at empanelled hospitals for covered packages. 

Hospitals in Hyderabad for Ayushman Treatment

For Ayushman treatment, check the hospital's

• KIMS - Sunshine Hospitals, Begumpet

• Apollo Hospitals (Jubilee Hills / Secunderabad)

• Yashoda Hospitals (Secunderabad / Somajiguda)

• Continental Hospital (Gachibowli)

• Medicover Hospitals (HITEC City)

• AIG Hospitals (Gachibowli)

• Srikara Hospitals ,  Hafeezpet/Madeenaguda

How to check Ayushman Hospitals?

1. Open the official PM-JAY Hospital Search.

2. Select Telangana.

3. Select Hyderabad district.

4. Select Government or Private Hospital.

5. Select the required speciality.

6. Enter the hospital name, if you have a particular hospital in mind.

7. Enter the captcha, if shown.

8. Click Search.

9. Check that the hospital is PM-JAY empanelled and that your required speciality is listed.

Documents for Ayushman Treatment

Keep these documents ready:

• Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Card/e-card

• Aadhaar Card

• Doctor's prescription/referral

• Medical reports and investigations

• Blood/urine test reports

• X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, etc., if applicable

• Previous discharge summaries

• Previous treatment records

• Current medicines/prescriptions

• Biopsy/pathology reports, if applicable

So, if the patient only has an ABHA Card, that alone cannot be used to claim Ayushman cashless treatment. They need to be eligible under PM-JAY and use an Ayushman card/beneficiary record at a PM-JAY empanelled hospital.
