What Could Cause Abdominal and Chest Pain With High Creatinine, Urea, and Blood Pressure?

A creatinine level above 10 and urea of 129 are very high and can indicate severe kidney dysfunction. The exact cause needs to be checked by a doctor. Abdominal pain may have several causes, and an ultrasound of the abdomen can help doctors look for problems involving the kidneys, urinary system and other abdominal organs.

What Should Be Done Now?

Because there is also chest pain and high BP, please take the patient to a hospital emergency department as soon as possible.

Doctors may need to check :

• ECG and cardiac blood tests for chest pain

• Blood pressure and oxygen level

• Kidney function and electrolyte levels, especially potassium

• Urine tests

• Ultrasound of the kidneys and abdomen

• Other scans or blood tests depending on the examination

• Whether urgent kidney treatment or dialysis is required

Dialysis cannot be decided from the creatinine number alone. Doctors consider symptoms, potassium level, fluid overload, urine output, acidity and the overall condition of the patient.
