Have a private health insurance policy.
Are not listed in the SECC beneficiary database.
Belong to any income group.
You can still apply under the Ayushman Vay Vandana Scheme if you are 70 years or older.
Eligible senior citizens receive health coverage of up to ₹5 lakh for hospitalization.
Pre-existing diseases are covered from day one.
Treatment is available on a cashless basis at empanelled hospitals.
