Can use Ayushman Bharat card for free hospital treatment?

Yes, Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) cardholders can receive cashless treatment for eligible procedures at PM-JAY-empanelled hospitals. However, HexaHealth itself is not a hospital and does not directly accept the Ayushman Card for treatment. We help patients connect with suitable partner hospitals that are empanelled under Ayushman Bharat. 

The availability of cashless treatment depends on

• Your Ayushman Bharat/PM-JAY eligibility.

• The hospital's current PM-JAY empanelment.

• The medical condition or surgery required.

• Whether the required treatment is included in an approved PM-JAY package.

• Hospital verification and, where applicable, pre-authorisation. 

How to Check an Ayushman Hospital

• Visit the official PM-JAY hospital search portal.

• Select your State and District.

• Search for PM-JAY empanelled hospitals.

• Check whether the hospital's empanelment is currently active.

• Confirm that the required specialty is available.

• Ask the hospital's Ayushman desk whether your specific treatment is covered.

• Carry your Ayushman Card, Aadhaar/valid ID and medical reports.

• Confirm the cashless treatment process before admission.
