Dear Gopal keshri ji

Aapko leg fracture ke baad plaster lagaya gaya hai aur doctor ne 1 week baad CT scan ke liye refer kiya hai. Is situation mein CT scan karwana important hai, kyunki isse fracture ki exact position, bone ke kitne pieces hain aur bone alignment kaisi hai, ye detail mein pata chal sakta hai. Is report ke basis par orthopaedic doctor decide kar sakte hain ki plaster se healing continue karni hai ya kisi aur treatment ki zarurat hai.

Abhi kya karna chahiye

  • Doctor ne CT scan recommend kiya hai to ise delay na karein.

  • CT scan ki report lekar same orthopaedic doctor ko dobara dikhayein.

  • Jab tak doctor permission na dein, injured leg par weight na daalein.

  • Crutches, walker ya walking support wahi use karein jo doctor ne suggest kiya hai.

  • Plaster ko khud se na kaatein, loose ya tight na karein.

  • Plaster ko dry rakhein.

  • Pair ko rest ke time heart level se thoda upar rakhna swelling kam karne mein help kar sakta hai.

Plaster ke saath kya precautions rakhein

  • Plaster ke andar khujli hone par koi stick, pen ya doosri cheez na daalein.

  • Plaster ko paani se bachayein.

  • Toes ko gently move karte rahein, agar doctor ne mana nahi kiya hai.

  • Heavy weight uthana aur unnecessary walking avoid karein.

  • Doctor ne jo pain medicine di hai, wahi prescribed way mein lein.

CT scan ke baad treatment kya ho sakta hai

CT report ke according treatment decide hoga. Agar fracture stable hai aur bones proper position mein hain, to plaster/cast ke saath healing continue ki ja sakti hai. Agar fracture complicated hai, bones displaced hain ya alignment theek nahi hai, to doctor additional treatment, fracture reduction ya surgery ki need discuss kar sakte hain.

Fracture ko heal hone mein commonly several weeks lag sakte hain, lekin exact time fracture ki location aur severity par depend karta hai.

Kab turant hospital jana chahiye

Agar plaster ke baad

  • pain achanak bahut badh jaye ya medicine se control na ho

  • toes numb ho jayein ya pins-and-needles ho

  • toes blue, white, bahut pale ya cold ho jayein

  • swelling bahut badh jaye ya plaster bahut tight lage

  • plaster se bad smell, discharge ya burning sensation aaye

  • calf mein naya pain/swelling ho

  • achanak saans phoolne lage ya chest pain ho

to routine appointment ka wait na karein. Emergency medical assessment karwayein, kyunki circulation problem, infection ya blood clot jaise complications ko urgently check karna pad sakta hai.

Sabse important baat: CT scan doctor ke advice ke according karwa kar report lekar orthopaedic specialist ko follow-up mein dikhayein. Apne aap plaster kholna ya pair par weight dalna avoid karein.

Wishing you and your family good health always.
