Yes, cardiology treatment is covered under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY.

Steps to check an Ayushman hospital

1. Open the official Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY hospital search portal.

2. Select your State.

3. Select your District.

4. Choose Government Hospital or Private Hospital.

5. Select Cardiology as the specialty.

6. Select or enter the hospital name if you have a particular hospital in mind.

7. Complete the CAPTCHA, if shown.

8. Click Search.

9. Check that the hospital is currently PM-JAY empanelled and has Cardiology listed.

10. You can also check overall empanelled list of hospital of your district.

11. Before admission, visit the hospital's Ayushman Mitra/PM-JAY desk and confirm that your specific cardiac treatment or procedure is covered and that the required authorization has been completed.

PM-JAY beneficiaries can also receive covered treatment outside their home state at an empanelled hospital on a cashless basis.

• Aadhaar card or accepted identity proof

• Mobile number

• Doctor's prescription/referral

• ECG and other cardiac reports

• Echocardiography report, if available

• Angiography/CT scan reports, if applicable

• Blood test and other investigation reports

• Previous prescriptions and medical records

• Previous discharge summary, if applicable
