How to check whether the hospital can provide it under Ayushman

1. Open the official PM-JAY Hospital Search portal.

2. Select the patient's State.

3. Select the District.

4. Choose Government or Private Hospital.

5. Select the relevant specialty, such as Cardiology.

6. Enter the exact hospital name.

7. Complete the Captcha, if shown.

8. Click Search.

9. Check that the hospital's PM-JAY empanelment is active.

10. Contact the hospital's Ayushman Mitra/PM-JAY desk and show the cardiologist's advice. Ask them to confirm that the required pacemaker treatment/package is covered and whether pre-authorization is required.

• Aadhaar Card

• Registered mobile number, if required for verification

• Recent heart attack records

• ECG reports

• Echocardiography report, if available

• Angiography/angioplasty reports, if done

• Current medicines list

• Any previous medical records and scans

Since the person has recently had a cardiac attack, please follow the cardiologist's advice without delay. If there is chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, fainting, confusion, very slow or irregular heartbeat, or sudden severe weakness, seek emergency medical care immediately.
