If you are in Delhi and cancer is suspected, you do not necessarily have to get all the tests done privately before using your PM-JAY card. The better approach is to first visit a PM-JAY-empanelled hospital and show your Ayushman card and available medical records.

The hospital's doctor can assess your condition and advise the investigations that are medically required. The hospital can then confirm which investigations and cancer treatments are covered under the applicable PM-JAY package.

Before visiting, verify the hospital's current PM-JAY empanelment and the particular cancer services available.

You can: 

• Select Delhi as the state in the PM-JAY hospital search facility.

• Select the relevant district.

• Search the hospital by its exact name.

• Check its current empanelment status.

• Check the relevant speciality.
