Does hospital accept Ayushman Bharat for cancer diagnosis?

Yes, cancer treatment is available under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY at empanelled hospitals.

It depends on the purpose of the diagnosis. Routine OPD consultation, preventive cancer screening or an independent diagnostic test should not automatically be assumed to be cashless under PM-JAY. 

How to check an Ayushman hospital for cancer treatment?

You can verify the hospital's current PM-JAY empanelment through the official PM-JAY Hospital Finder

1. Open the official PM-JAY Hospital Finder.

2. Select your State.

3. Select your District.

4. Search the hospital by name, or select the Oncology speciality.

5. Check whether the hospital is currently empanelled.

• Ayushman Bharat Card/e-Ayushman Card

• Aadhaar Card or valid government ID

• Doctor's prescription

• Biopsy or histopathology report, if available

• Blood test reports

• CT Scan, MRI or PET-CT reports, if available

• Previous medical records

• Previous discharge summaries

• Previous surgery/chemotherapy/radiotherapy records, if applicable

• Current treatment prescription or oncologist's treatment plan
