When we found out that Dr Sacchidanand is the first DrNB trained neonatologist in Panaji we knew we were in the right hands. His super-speciality training from BJ Wadia Hospital Mumbai is clearly reflected in his clinical decision-making. He handled our baby's intraventricular haemorrhage case very carefully and outcomes have been better than we feared.

Our daughter was born at just 28 weeks weighing barely 900 grams. Those first few days in NICU were the most terrifying of our lives. Dr Sacchidanand Kawde at Manipal Goa was with us every step of the way. He explained each procedure including the ventilator support and the medications in simple Marathi and Hindi. He would visit the NICU personally twice a day and update us. After 9 weeks in NICU our daughter came home healthy. We owe her life to him. There are no words sufficient to express our gratitude.

My baby swallowed meconium during delivery and needed immediate NICU care. Dr Sacchidanand managed the meconium aspiration syndrome very expertly. My premature baby was discharged from NICU but needed regular developmental monitoring. Dr Kawde's structured developmental follow-up programme at Manipal Goa has been very systematic. He monitors growth milestones neurodevelopment and nutrition at every visit. We feel very supported even after NICU discharge. Very few neonatologists in Goa provide this level of post-NICU care.
