ಅಪ್ಪನಿಗೆ ಕಿಡ್ನಿ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಡಿಟೆಕ್ಟ್ ಆಯ್ತು. ತುಂಬಾ ಗಬ್ಬು ಹಾಯ್ತು. ಪಂಪಣಗೌಡ ಸರ್ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಅಪರೂಪದ ನಿಖರತೆಯಿಂದ. ಅವರು ನಮಗೆ ಸಾಂತ್ವನ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು, ಗೈಡನ್ಸ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಇವತ್ತು ಅಪ್ಪ ಮತ್ತೆ ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
