ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಪ್ಪು ಹಲಗೆ ಓದಲು ಕಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಡಾ. ಉಲ್ಕಾ ಅವರು ಬಹಳ ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಕನ್ನಡಕ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಈಗ ಮಗ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಓದುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಮಣಿಪಾಲ್ ಕ್ಲಿನಿಕ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ವೈದ್ಯರು.
