ನನ್ನ ಅಕ್ಕನ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ನಂತರದ ತುರ್ತು ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ಶರತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಜೆ ಕೆ ಅವರು ತೋರಿದ ಸಮಯಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ಮರೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಜೊತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ರೀತಿ ಬಹಳ ಗೌರವಯುತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಬೊಮ್ಮಸಂದ್ರದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರಿಂದ ನಮಗೆ ಬಹಳ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ದೊರೆಯಿತು. ಇವರು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ದಕ್ಷ ವೈದ್ಯರು.

ಬೊಮ್ಮಸಂದ್ರದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ಶರತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆವು. ಅಪಘಾತದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗಿದ್ದ ಆತಂಕವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಬಹಳ ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ನೀಡುವ ನಿಖರವಾದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಮೇಲಿನ ಅವರ ಗಮನ ನಮಗೆ ಬಹಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿತು. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತುರ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಇವರನ್ನು ನಿಸ್ಸಂದೇಹವಾಗಿ ನಂಬಬಹುದು.

ನನ್ನ ಪತಿಗೆ ಉಸಿರಾಟದ ತೊಂದರೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ನಾವು ಮಜುಂದಾರ್ ಶಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ಓಡಿದೆವು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ಶರತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಸಮಯಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಾಕಚಕ್ಯತೆ ನನ್ನ ಪತಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಉಳಿಸಿತು. ಇಂತಹ ಕಠಿಣ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಧೈರ್ಯ ತುಂಬುವ ಇವರ ಗುಣ ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯ. ಇವರು ಬಹಳ ದಕ್ಷ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಳಜಿಯುಳ್ಳ ವೈದ್ಯರು.
