Hello,

We understand that arranging money for your wife's treatment can be difficult. Since she is 34 weeks pregnant and the doctor has advised a procedure, please do not delay her treatment because of financial concerns. You be able to use the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY card at an eligible government or private hospital, depending on your eligibility and the approved treatment package.

How to get treatment under the Ayushman Bharat Card?

  1. Check whether your family is eligible for the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY scheme.
  2. Open the official hospital search portal: Ayushman Bharat Empanelled Hospital Search.
  3. Select your state.
  4. Select your district.
  5. First check the overall list of empanelled hospitals in your district.
  6. Select Government or Private, if the option is available.
  7. Choose the relevant speciality, such as Gynaecology and Obstetrics, if available.
  8. Search for the exact hospital name.
  9. Enter the captcha, if shown, and click Search.
  10. Confirm that the hospital is actively empanelled under PM-JAY. Contact its Ayushman Mitra desk to check whether your wife's advised treatment or delivery procedure is covered and whether prior approval is required.

Which documents should you carry?

  • Ayushman Card or beneficiary details.
  • Aadhaar card or another valid identity document.
  • Pregnancy reports and ultrasound reports.
  • Doctor's prescription and written advice for the procedure.
  • Blood test reports and other medical records.
  • Previous hospital records, if any.

At 34 weeks of pregnancy, some procedures may need timely medical attention. If your wife has bleeding, severe abdominal pain, leaking fluid, reduced baby movements, severe headache or blurred vision, seek urgent medical care. Do not delay emergency treatment while checking card coverage.

Please share your city and state, along with the name of the procedure the doctor has advised. We can then guide you on how to check nearby empanelled hospitals and the relevant treatment coverage.

Wishing you and your family good health always.
Warm regards,
Team HexaHealth
