Steps to check an Ayushman hospital in Kolkata

1. Open the official PM-JAY Hospital Search portal.

2. Select West Bengal as the State.

3. Select Kolkata as the District.

4. Select Private Hospital.

5. Select the relevant specialty, such as Neurology/Neurosurgery, if available.

6. Enter the exact hospital name.

7. Enter the captcha, if shown.

8. Click Search.

9. Check whether the hospital has active PM-JAY empanelment and whether the required stroke treatment package is available.

10. Visit the hospital's Ayushman Mitra/PM-JAY desk with the patient's medical reports and doctor's advice. Ask them to confirm the applicable package, cashless eligibility and whether pre-authorisation is required.
