Yes. Thyroid surgery is covered under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY.

The PM-JAY package list includes hemi-thyroidectomy, total thyroidectomy, and total thyroidectomy with block dissection. 

How to Check an Ayushman Hospital

1. Open the official PM-JAY Hospital Search portal.

2. Select your State.

3. Select your District/City.

4. Select Hospital Type, if required.

5. Select the relevant speciality, such as General Surgery or ENT.

6. Enter the Hospital Name, if you already have one in mind.

7. Enter the Captcha.

8. Click on Search.

9. Check whether the hospital is currently listed as PM-JAY empanelled.

Documents Required

Keep these documents ready:

• Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Card/e-card

• Aadhaar Card or valid government ID

• Ration Card/Family ID, if available

• Doctor's prescription or surgical advice

• Thyroid function test reports

• Thyroid ultrasound/USG report

• FNAC/biopsy report, if advised

• Previous medical reports and prescriptions

• Previous discharge summary, if applicable

For thyroidectomy packages, clinical documentation such as thyroid function tests and FNAC/USG may be required to establish the diagnosis and need for surgery.
