Can psychiatric OPD and medicines be free with Ayushman card?

Ayushman Card se psychiatric OPD consultation aur regular medicines generally free nahi hoti hain.

PM-JAY mainly eligible hospitalization and day-care treatment packages ko cover karta hai. Official PM-JAY guidance mein outpatient care ko excluded services mein mention kiya gaya hai.

Psychiatric Treatment Kab Cover Ho Sakta Hai?

Mental health ke kuch treatments PM-JAY ke package list mein included hain, jaise schizophrenia, mood disorders aur kuch other mental disorders ke hospitalization packages.

Agar patient ko covered psychiatric condition ke liye hospital mein admission ki zaroorat hai, to eligible patient ko empanelled hospital mein applicable package ke according cashless treatment mil sakta hai. Hospital ke dauran package ke under required medicines bhi cover ho sakti hain.

Lekin sirf psychiatrist ko OPD mein dikhana aur har mahine ki medicines lena Ayushman Card se automatically free nahi hota.

Simple words mein :

• Psychiatric OPD - generally Ayushman se covered nahi.

• Regular medicines from outside pharmacy - generally Ayushman se free nahi.

• Covered psychiatric hospitalization - applicable PM-JAY package ke under cashless treatment mil sakta hai.
