How to check an Ayushman hospital for autoimmune disorder treatment

Follow these steps:

1. Open the official PM-JAY Hospital Search portal.
2. Select your State.
3. Select your District.
4. Select the hospital type, such as Government or Private.
5. Select the relevant specialty, such as General Medicine, Rheumatology, Dermatology, or another relevant specialty, where available.
6. Search for hospitals in your area if you have any in mind.
7. Enter Captcha
8. Click Search
9. Check whether the hospital is currently PM-JAY empanelled.
10. Check other empanelled hospitals also which are under pmjay in your district

What documents should you carry?

Keep these documents ready:

• Ayushman Card
• Aadhaar Card or valid identity proof
• Doctor's prescription or referral
• Diagnosis reports
• Blood test reports
• Previous treatment records
• Biopsy, scan, X-ray, CT or MRI reports, if applicable
• Previous discharge summary, if available

What about regular medicines and OPD treatment?

This is an important point. Routine OPD care is generally not covered under PM-JAY. Therefore, regular consultations, medicines taken at home (including ongoing biologic or DMARD therapy), or investigations done without an applicable hospitalisation/package should not automatically be considered Ayushman-covered.
