Can you use Ayushman card for bone marrow tests in hospitals?

Yes, a bone marrow test is covered under Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY.

PM-JAY packages are designed to bundle in the diagnostics (including biopsies and pathology tests) linked to your treatment, so it's generally included in the same package rate rather than charged separately.

However, a standalone bone marrow test done outside of any approved hospitalization or treatment plan is not automatically free just because you have an Ayushman Card.

How to Check Ayushman Hospital?

Follow these steps:

1. Open the official PM-JAY Hospital Search portal.
2. Select your State.
3. Select your District.
4. Choose Government or Private hospital.
5. Select the relevant speciality.
6. Enter the exact hospital name, if you already know it.
7. Complete the Captcha.
8. Click Search.
9. Check whether the hospital's PM-JAY empanelment is currently active.
10. Also check proper list of empanelled hospitals

• Aadhaar Card or accepted identity proof
• Doctor's prescription or referral
• Previous blood test reports
• CBC and other relevant reports
• Previous medical records
