Hello,

Aapki kidney stone ki problem ko ignore nahi karna chahiye. Urologist ultrasound/CT scan aur zaroori tests dekhkar decide karte hain ki stone medicines se nikal sakta hai ya procedure ki zarurat hai.

Kidney stone ka treatment kaise hota hai?

Treatment stone ke size aur location par depend karta hai.

  • Chhota stone: Kuch chhote stones bina operation ke urine ke through nikal sakte hain. Doctor pain control aur stone pass karne ke liye medicines de sakte hain.

  • ESWL: Ismein bahar se shock waves dekar stone ko chhote pieces mein toda jata hai, jise urine ke through nikalne mein aasani hoti hai.

  • Ureteroscopy/laser treatment: Ek patla instrument urine ke raste se kidney ya ureter tak le jaakar stone ko laser se todkar ya directly nikal sakte hain.

  • PCNL: Agar stone bada hai ya kidney mein multiple/large stones hain, to back mein ek small opening se instrument kidney tak pahunchaya jata hai aur stone ko todkar nikala jata hai.

  • Stent: Kuch cases mein procedure ke baad ureter mein temporary stent lagaya ja sakta hai, taaki urine easily flow kar sake.

Doctor kaunse tests kar sakte hain?

Doctor aapki condition ke hisaab se:

  • Ultrasound KUB

  • CT scan, agar required ho

  • Urine test

  • Blood tests

  • Kidney function tests

karwa sakte hain. Stone nikalne ke baad uska analysis bhi kiya ja sakta hai, jisse future mein stone dobara banne ka risk kam karne ke liye diet ya medicines decide karne mein madad milti hai.

Abhi kya precautions rakhein?

Doctor ne fluid restriction nahi di hai to adequate paani peete rahein. Lekin agar kidney/heart ki problem hai ya doctor ne fluids restrict kiye hain, to apne doctor ki advice follow karein.

Bina doctor ki advice ke painkiller, antibiotic ya stone ki medicine khud se start na karein.

Heavy physical activity se bachna better hai jab tak doctor stone ki condition clear na kar dein.

Kab emergency mein hospital jana chahiye?

Agar kidney stone ke saath:

  • Bahut tez ya unbearable pain

  • Fever ya chills

  • Baar-baar vomiting

  • Urine bahut kam ya bilkul na aana

  • Urine mein zyada blood

  • Severe weakness ya condition rapidly worsen hona

ho, to emergency medical care lein. Stone ke saath urine blockage aur infection serious ho sakte hain.

Hospital jaate waqt kya documents lekar jayein?

  • Aadhaar card/valid ID

  • Ayushman Card, agar available hai

  • Ultrasound/CT scan report

  • Urine test reports

  • Blood/kidney function reports

  • Doctor ki prescription

  • Purani medical reports

  • Previous treatment/discharge papers

  • Current medicines ki list

Wishing you and your family good health always.
