What causes recurrent fistula after previous surgery?

Haan ji, agar fistula 4 saal se hai aur 2021 mein LIGMS treatment ke baad dobara ho gaya hai, to is baar proper evaluation karwana important hai. Fistula ke dobara hone ka reason infection, andar tract ka reh jaana ya fistula ka complex hona ho sakta hai. Sirf medicines ya home remedies se fistula permanently theek hona usually possible nahi hota.

Abhi kya karna chahiye?

• General Surgeon ya Colorectal Surgeon se examination karwayein.

• Doctor zarurat ke hisaab se MRI pelvis/fistula mapping ya other tests advise kar sakte hain, especially agar fistula baar-baar recur ho raha hai.

• Treatment fistula ke tract aur anal sphincter muscles ke involvement ke according decide hota hai. Surgery/procedure ka type har patient mein alag ho sakta hai.

• 2021 ke treatment ke records, reports aur discharge papers available hain to doctor ko zaroor dikhayein.

Ghar par kya precautions rakhein?

• Stool ko soft rakhein aur constipation se bachein.

• Fibre-rich foods jaise vegetables, fruits aur whole grains diet mein include karein.

• Paani sufficient quantity mein piyen, agar doctor ne fluid restriction nahi di hai.

• Warm sitz bath 10–15 minutes, din mein 1–2 baar, agar comfortable ho, le sakte hain.

• Anal area ko gently clean karke dry rakhein.

• Long periods tak toilet par na baithein aur stool ke liye excessive straining na karein.

• Bina doctor ki advice ke antibiotics, steroid creams ya koi herbal/oily remedy na lagayein.

Kab jaldi doctor ko dikhana chahiye?

Agar severe pain, anus ke paas swelling, pus ya bad-smelling discharge, fever/chills, difficulty passing stool or urine, ya rapidly increasing swelling ho, to jaldi medical care lein. Abscess (pus collection) hone par urgent treatment ki zarurat ho sakti hai.

Kyuki fistula treatment ke baad dobara ho gaya hai, is baar experienced colorectal/general surgeon se proper assessment karwana best rahega.
