Does the hospital have a nephrology department covered by Abha insurance?

Yes, we have access to Nephrology specialists through our partner hospitals. Depending on the patient’s kidney condition, we can help you find a suitable nephrologist and partner hospital for consultation and treatment.

However, ABHA and Ayushman Card are different:

• ABHA is a digital health ID/account. It helps you keep and access your health records digitally. It is not an insurance card and does not itself provide free or cashless treatment.

• Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY is a government health assurance scheme that provides eligible beneficiaries cashless hospitalisation for covered treatments at empanelled hospitals, subject to the applicable package and eligibility. 

So, if you have only an ABHA number/card, you cannot assume that the treatment will be covered free of cost.

If you have an Ayushman PM-JAY card, we can help you check suitable empanelled hospitals and whether the required kidney treatment is covered.
