Description
Hello,i would like to know if i Can use my pmjay card in operating my eye?
Hello,
Yes, PM-JAY cover certain eye operations/treatments. However, LASIK is generally not covered under PM-JAY because it is considered a refractive/cosmetic-type procedure rather than treatment of a covered medical condition.
Open the official PM-JAY empanelled hospital search.
Select your State.
Select your District.
Select Government or Private Hospital.
Select the relevant speciality, such as Ophthalmology/Eye.
Enter the hospital name if you already have one in mind.
Enter the captcha, if shown.
Click on Search.
Check whether the hospital is currently PM-JAY empanelled and has the required eye speciality.
You can also check overall empanelled hospital list of your district
Before treatment, visit the hospital's Ayushman Mitra/PM-JAY desk and confirm the exact eye procedure/package and cashless approval. Specialized services are available only at hospitals empanelled for that particular service.
Ayushman Card/PM-JAY Card
Aadhaar Card or valid government ID
Doctor's prescription/referral
Eye examination reports
Eye scan, OCT, ultrasound or other reports, if available
Previous treatment records
Previous discharge papers, if any
Current medicines/prescriptions
Wishing you and your family good health always.
Warm regards,
Team HexaHealth
