Yes, Ayushman Card can provide cashless treatment  in PM-JAY-empanelled hospitals in Surat, Vadodara and Ahmedabad. However, “acid treatment” can mean two different problems

If You Mean Acidity, Acid Reflux or GERD

Routine acidity, medicines and OPD consultation are generally not covered as standalone PM-JAY benefits. However, if you have a serious digestive condition requiring covered hospitalisation or a procedure, the hospital can check whether the required treatment is included under an applicable PM-JAY package.

If You Mean an Acid Attack Injury

Acid attack injuries require urgent medical care, including burn treatment, wound management and reconstructive procedures. You should immediately approach a suitable government or PM-JAY-empanelled hospital for evaluation and treatment.

How to Check an Ayushman Hospital

1. Open the official PM-JAY Hospital Search portal.

2. Select Gujarat as the State.

3. Select Surat, Vadodara or Ahmedabad as the District.

4. Select Government or Private hospital.

5. Check the relevant speciality, such as General Medicine, Gastroenterology, Burns or Plastic Surgery.

6. Confirm that the hospital is currently PM-JAY empanelled.
