Hello,
We understand your concern. Since your mother completed chemotherapy around 3 months ago and radiotherapy has still not started because of limited slots at AIIMS Delhi, it is understandable that you are looking for another option.
Regarding Max Hospital, Max hospitals in Delhi is not PM-JAY empanelled.
However, you can look for another Ayushman-empanelled cancer hospital in Delhi/NCR where radiotherapy is available.
Before going to another hospital, carry your mother's complete treatment records from AIIMS and ask the hospital's Ayushman desk specifically about radiotherapy under PM-JAY.
For cancer treatment, the hospital may need to submit the complete treatment plan and obtain the required pre-authorization before starting the covered treatment.
Open the official PM-JAY hospital search.
Select Delhi as the state.
Select the required district.
Choose Government or Private hospital.
Select the relevant cancer/oncology specialty.
Search for the hospital name if you have any in mind.
Enter the captcha, if shown.
Check whether the hospital is currently empanelled under PM-JAY.
You can also check overall empanelled list of hospital.
Confirm that radiotherapy is available at that hospital.
Speak to the Ayushman Mitra/Ayushman desk and confirm that your mother's specific radiotherapy treatment is covered and that the required approval can be obtained.
Ayushman Card
Aadhaar Card/valid ID
AIIMS discharge summary and treatment records
Chemotherapy records
Biopsy/histopathology report
CT/MRI/PET-CT reports, if done
Blood and other investigation reports
Oncologist's prescription/referral
Radiotherapy advice or treatment plan from AIIMS
Previous prescriptions and medicines
Any other documents given by AIIMS
Please do not stop or delay your mother's treatment plan without discussing it with her treating oncologist. Take the AIIMS radiotherapy advice and records to the new hospital so their radiation oncologist can review the case.
Wishing you and your family good health always.
Warm regards,
Team HexaHealth
