Founded in 2000 by renowned cardiac surgeon Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty, Narayana Health started as a 280-bed cardiac hospital in Bangalore, formerly known as Narayana Hrudayalaya.

Since then, it has grown into one of India’s largest healthcare networks, rebranded as Narayana Health in 2013.
