He has also contributed to the Textbook of Uncommon Cancer and participated in numerous academic talks and discussions. His insights have been featured in leading medical journals and media platforms, where he shares his expertise on topics such as gastrointestinal health and surgical advancements.

Dr Govind Nandakumar has been recognized for his exceptional contributions to the medical field with numerous prestigious awards. He served as courtesy faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York, and as a guest faculty at AIMS Rishikesh. His dedication to teaching earned him the Hassan Nama Chief Resident Teaching Award in 2009, as well as the Alpha Omega Alpha Resident Teaching Award.
