How to Register Mobile Number in PMJAY Scheme?

To use most online PM-JAY (Ayushman Bharat) services, your mobile number should be linked with your Aadhaar Card. During the Ayushman Card verification (e-KYC) process, the registered Aadhaar mobile number is used for OTP authentication. If your mobile number is not linked or has changed, you should update it before completing your Ayushman Card verification.

Method 1: Register or Verify Through the PM-JAY Beneficiary Portal

You can complete the process online by

• Visiting the official PM-JAY Beneficiary Portal.

• Logging in using your mobile number and OTP.

• Selecting your State and Scheme (PM-JAY).

• Searching using your Aadhaar Number, Family ID, or Ration Card Number.

• Completing the e-KYC process.

• Verifying your identity through Aadhaar OTP.

Once the verification is completed successfully, your beneficiary details are updated according to the Aadhaar records.

Method 2: Using the Ayushman App

You can also use the official Ayushman App to

• Log in using your mobile number.

• Search for your beneficiary details.

• Complete Aadhaar e-KYC.

• Verify your identity through OTP or Face Authentication (where available).

• Generate or download your Ayushman Card after successful verification.

Method 3: Visit a Common Service Centre (CSC)

If you are unable to complete the process online

• Visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).

• Carry your Aadhaar Card.

• Carry your Ration Card or Family ID (if applicable).

• Carry the mobile phone you want to use for verification.

• The CSC operator will help complete the verification process.

Method 4: Visit an Ayushman Mitra Help Desk

You can also visit an Ayushman Mitra Help Desk at a PM-JAY empanelled hospital.

Carry:

• Aadhaar Card.

• Ration Card or Family ID (if applicable).

• Registered mobile number.

• Any additional documents requested during verification.

The Ayushman Mitra can help you complete the beneficiary verification and card generation process.

What If Your Aadhaar Is Linked to an Old Mobile Number?

If your Aadhaar is linked to an old or inactive mobile number, you should first update your mobile number in the Aadhaar database by visiting an Aadhaar Enrolment or Update Centre. Once the Aadhaar records are updated, you can complete the PM-JAY verification process.

How to Check Whether the Hospital Accepts Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY)?

Before taking treatment, verify whether the hospital is empanelled under PM-JAY.

Online Verification

• Visit the PM-JAY Hospital Finder.

• Select:

  • State

  • District

  • Hospital Name (or Specialty, if required).

• Click Search.

• Confirm that the hospital is PM-JAY empanelled.

Before starting the Ayushman Card verification process, make sure your Aadhaar Card is linked to an active mobile number. This helps you receive OTPs for e-KYC and avoids delays while generating or downloading your Ayushman Card. If you have changed your mobile number recently, update it in Aadhaar first and then complete the PM-JAY verification.
